WOF Inspections
A Warrant of Fitness (WOF) Inspection is a periodic check to ensure that the vehicle meets the legal safety standards to be driven on New Zealand roads. As the owner, you are responsible for ensuring your vehicle would qualify for a warrant at all times.
Other Inspections
If you’re thinking of buying a secondhand vehicle, we would recommend bringing it in for a pre-purchase inspection, to ensure you know exactly what you’re buying and avoid any nasty surprises.
When you’re planning a long road trip, we would suggest bringing it in for a pre-purchase inspection, so you discover any faults in the vehicle while you’re in a mechanic’s workshop, rather than out in the middle of nowhere.
If you want to modify your vehicle, you are legally required to acquire modification plates, issued by a licensed inspector, that ensure your vehicle is safe to drive, before you can submit it for a WOF Inspection.
Here at Brad Bagnall we can provide pre-purchase, pre-trip, and modification plate inspections.
